Tonto National Forest, Arizona, USA. It’s one of those rare patches of land where you can get lost and almost forget there are problems in the world. It is a home to a herd of wild horses who live in sync with the nature, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get in trouble.
This photographer captured a moment when one group of horses tried to cross the river when the youngest of them, Filly was suddenly swept away by the currents. Watch the big colt named Champ did made me cheer out loud. They truly are magnificent animals.
