A few days before Christmas 2 years ago, the young Brazilian Paola Antonini's life changed dramatically. Paola is a beautiful, fun-loving woman, who works as a professional model. One day however, she was in a car accident with a reckless driver. She was so badly injured that the doctors had to amputate her left leg from the thigh down.
The accident and resulting disability seemed to get Paola down, and her job as a model appeared impossible. But Paola took her new life as it came - she proved to herself and everyone else just how strong her willpower was.
Today, she is proud of her prosthetic and above all, she shows that having a disability is no reason to be sour or unhappy.
She regularly shares photos, which leave viewers certain that she is leading a life full of joy and energy.
The beautiful woman also regularly plays sports, including riding, dancing, and skateboarding ...
... or even swimming. This is probably why she still has a perfect figure.
She makes no secret of her prosthetic, because Paola's beauty and willpower aren't diminished because of it.
But it's not about her beautiful pictures. Paola has gone through a process to prove to herself, and many others, that people with disabilities can have the courage to live their lives with joy and confidence.
The gruesome accident also didn't destroy Paola's carrier as she thought it would. She continues to work as a model for an important company.
She regularly appears on television and also runs her own blog and YouTube channel where she speaks with other disabled people and encourages them.
Paola is surely one of the most beautiful models in the world and it's hard to resist her smile. And this is good, because she uses it to inspire others who urgently need more courage and brightness in their lives.
