Thirsty Elephant Crashes A Pool Party

Hot days are both the best and the worst – you get to wear your best summer attire and walk under the sun but you can easily get thirsty.

Water Supply For Elephants

Because of their big size, elephants can require around 68 to 98 liters (18 to 26 gallons) of water every day.

A Sanctuary

Built in 2002, the Elephant Sands, located in the northeastern part of Botswana, is a bush lodge and campsite where elephants can enjoy the natural water flow in front of the lodge.

Ideal For Walks

Since the beautiful place has no fences surrounding the area, animals like elephants are free to roam around.

When Water Runs Out

When they can’t find water nearby, elephants may sometimes crash pool parties within the area.

Useful Trunks

An elephant’s trunk is filled with muscles that they use to grab things like branches or a blade of grass. They also use their trunks as huge straws that can suck up to 14 liters of water at once.

Someone Got Thirsty

One day while several friends are out together on a nice day, drinking some beer, and enjoying the pool, a thirsty elephant suddenly appeared.

A Gentle Guest

The giant mammal dipped his trunk into the pool and started drinking to quench his thirst from his long walk under the heat of the sun.

Bye, Friends

The kind elephant didn’t make a mess. After having his drink, he immediately left the place in peace.
