A stay-at-home mom is getting ready to welcome her twelfth child to complete her brood of 12 children aged 12 and under.
Courtney is set to have her 12th child in March next year. The 37-year-old revealed her husband hopes it’s a girl, so they have 6 boys and 6 girls. Meanwhile, Courtney says she is ready for a boy.
And if you’re wondering if this busy mom ever gets a break? She also homeschools them all, so that would be a ‘no’.
The 37-year-old has rarely been without a bump or a newborn in the 13 years since marrying church pastor husband Chris Rogers, 32. The couple have a 15-seater van and all live in a three-bedroom property in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, but plan to expand their space once their twelfth child arrives.
Speaking after giving birth to her 11th child in November 2020, Courtney said she’d be sad when she stopped having kids.
She said: “I love being a mother and I would really like to have another one. We’ll probably wait a year or two to try.”
It seems the devoted parents didn’t wait a year and are now expecting their twelfth baby in March.
The couple continued the trend of names starting with the letter ‘C’ with their children; Clint is the couple’s oldest child followed by Clay, Cade, Callie, Cash, twins Colt and Case, Calena, Caydie, Coralee, and Caris.
Courtney documents life on the family’s 12-acre plot on her Instagram page @littlehouseinthehighdesert.
“Ever since I became a mother, it’s just become my life and I enjoy it and love every minute,” she said in an interview with the Daily Mail in January 2021.
“Even though I have so many kids, I’m the type who will be sad when I have my last one and want to cherish each moment.’
Her twelfth baby will almost be arriving by the time her eldest child is 12 years old. She said: We’re so excited as we had wanted 12. I’m very thankful that it’s happening, and the kids are still going to be close in age.”
