Woman Accused Of Killing Stepson Wrote To A Judge To Complain About How 'Unfair' Jail Is

Letecia Stauch is currently doing time in jail after being accused of killing her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon Stauch. After Gannon was found missing from his home in Colorado Springs, his body was discovered in Florida. Letecia had reported him missing on January 27, 2020.

On the day he went missing, Gannon didn't go to school. Letecia claimed he was sick. Letecia's story fell apart when it was discovered that she told her employer a completely different story. They believed that her stepfather had been hit, and killed by, a car. At the time, traces of blood were also left throughout the home. Letecia also tried telling people that Gannon was taken by a man named Eguardo, who also reportedly sexually assaulted her. But it was Letecia who was officially tied to the murder.

Letecia is having a rough time in jail. Because of this, she wrote a letter to Judge Gregory Werner to tell him about how unfair and terrifying her experience has been. She also believes someone's been trying to poison her food.

"On 15-plus times I have been abused in transport, ranging from injured ribs, knot on my head, several ankle, and wrist bleeding (sic), bruising on my knee in my cell loss of feeling in my hands several times," she wrote, according to The Gazette. Supposedly in August,2020 someone even threatened her through her jar of peanut butter.

Prior to this letter, Letecia also made headlines when she tried to bribe her way toward an escape. Thus all eyes have been on her recently.
