Adorable: First grade teacher lets students decorate her dress
ShaRee Castlebury is a first-grade teacher in Lawton, OK, who wanted to do something special for her students at the end of the year. So she came up with a genius idea: She let her students decorate a plain white dress with markers, and she wore it on the last day of school.
The children were excited to help with the project, and created intricate drawings with the markers.
ShaRee has the students sign their names, and she writes the year on the back of the dress. She plans to do this every year for her students and then save the dresses to wear whenever she is celebrating her former students' successes.
That's certainly a conversation piece! What a wonderful way to make her students feel like a part of her life forever. Share if you agree!
