PREGNANT MOM GOES IN FOR AN MRI. NOW SHE CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT IT CAUGHT HER TWINS DOING!

When a mom pregnant with twins went to the doctor, she agreed to get an MRI scan using a new high-tech monitor known for its cinematic detail. The new technology can provide parents and doctors alike with strikingly clear footage of their little ones. It can be especially helpful during multiple births, as doctors use it to diagnose twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a condition where one twin siphons blood from the other.
The cinematic ultrasound has been able to detect fetuses hiccuping, swallowing, stretching, and yawning. However, in this particular video, you’ll see a pair of twins doing something that I’m sure many pregnant women have felt in their bellies, but never quite knew what was really happening. These twins are getting up to some classic sibling rivalry as they wrestle each other in the womb. Before they’re even born, and the little babies are already horse-playing. Don’t be alarmed, as doctors assure this kind of teasing amongst twins is normal and healthy.
“If you’ve got two fetuses in the womb, they can’t possibly stay in their own space,” Dr. Marjorie Greenfield, division chief of general obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, told ABCNews.com. “Twins have been kicking in wombs for millennia. Only now we’re able to experience it like this.”
Not only does this new technology help doctors provide better healthcare, but it also gives parents more insight on how their kids behave in the womb — amazing!
Please SHARE if you hope this new tech becomes more common!
